A few series that we're working our way through during this summer:
Orange is the New Black: Just finished Season 1 and really enjoyed it. Great mix of characters, lots of potential story lines...really looking forward to Season 2.
Suits: I believe dpodoll recommended this - my wife and I love the show. I'm surprised that its not more popular. We're just finishing up Season 3 and have been DVRing Season 4, so we'll go right into it. The ladies on the show are incredibly gorgeous and whomever picks out their work attire has fantastic taste in fitted clothing!
Mad Men: I'm obviously very late to this game...cruised through Season 1, now into Season 2. I really like it. My favorite shows are The Wire, Braking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, etc. type of shows and Mad Men is obviously much slower, but its very well done and I'll definitely continue to work my way through it.
Those are our three summer series we're working our way through.

Homeland preview, back first week of October:
Go Gophers!!
'Hell on Wheels' anyone?
Good show.
Also, Showtime's lineup of Ray Donovan and Masters of Sex is pretty strong. Ray Donovan is similar to the Sopranos. It's not as good as Tony and company, but it's good. Masters of Sex is just a masterpiece.
Is Masters of Sex really that good? I watched the first half of the first season when it was released and concluded that it was simply meaningless soft core porn. Does the plot line get much better?
Ray Donovan is excellent. The 2nd season has been great so far in my opinion.
It is fantastic. If you stopped watching, then you missed out. I don't see how anyone would consider it soft core by any means, other than the fact that there is nudity.

We just finished season one and I like it-don't love it. Am I the only one who thinks Dr. Master's is one of the least likable characters ever? Serial killers are more likable imo.
Showtime gives 'Homeland' two-hour premiere on Oct. 5
The network announced that it will air the first two episodes of the CIA thriller’s fourth season on Oct. 5, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Set in Islamabad and Kabul, the new batch of episodes will feature several new faces, including Suraj Sharma, who plays a Pakistani medical student whom Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) encounters, Laila Robins as the U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, and Corey Stoll as the CIA chief of station in Pakistan.

Go Gophers!!
Hopefully the show gets back on track. Seems like it has never quite lived up to its potential. However, the second half of season 3 seemed to be moving in the right direction.
