Im not pointing fingers here because I think everyone was right on their analysis of Cohen. And in advance, I don't think anyone has done this or will do this to an extreme, but the thing I would absolutely hate to happen throughout the recruiting process, is Gophers fans with the classic: "Awwh, I/we didn't want him anyway" or "He wasn't good enough to make an impact for us".
Now, not saying Sandy was a great player and I agree that its not like he will be some all-star player, but lets not continue to act like we don't need a top 100 recruit, because let's face it: they are hard to come by for us, and even if Sandy were a bench player, he'd be a better option than a lot of our other reserve options.
Moral of the story: If Kaleb Joseph, Newton, Whitehead, Rashad, Reid, Alex Robinson, Paul White, Perkins, etc choose to go elsewhere (I strongly believe a few will choose to be Gophers), lets not act like they weren't good enough for our team as fans, because each and everyone of these guys is worthy and capable of being a big time, impact recruit for us! That's all.
