All Things Minnesota at UCLA at Rose Bowl Stadium October 12, 2024

Ugg...I'm sure I'm in the minority, but man, that's late. My 9 and 7 year old will be fine, but that's pretty late for my 5 year old, as the game will get done around 11:30pm central time. Also means the entire next day they'll all be really squirrely as whenever happens when they stay up really late.
Yea this sucks, I will have to miss it now

If you really love this new version of Big Ten football, Penn State at USC kicks off at 12:30 local time in the Coliseum, so there's plenty of time for the SoCal 2-fer.

Flying next week to our winter home in La Quinta CA (near Palm Springs). Driving over and back on game day, about 100 miles each way. 4 of us. Looking forward to tailgating with some friends from San Diego and ANYONE else that enjoys college football like I do. I just love it!

And when I walk thru the entrance to the Rose Bowl, with those San Gabriel Mountains in the background, I could care less how dated it is - I'll be able to hear Keith Jackson say "Whoa Nelly, the Granddaddy of Them All".

Nice!

Are their any airport shuttles to the Rose Bowl?

Keep in mind, there could be a playoff Dodger game Friday evening in LA.

Does anyone else find it odd the the script UCLA uses lower case letters for the “cla”

Someone previously posted in this thread that you can take the train from the airport to downtown and get on the train to Pasadena, and they run about every 10 minutes. (I hope I got it right).
