I have a friend who searches out "old growth" forests, we were comparing hiking trails one day and I have a couple pics I'll try and find. One with my wife standing next to a log that's about 5 feet in diameter. I showed my friend a pic I took of my wife next to a tree that had been torn apart by a bear. He said "I know that tree and people aren't suppose to be in there" I smiled and said nothing. He was right, it was and is still a restricted access area.
I attached a photo from Waldo Lake, it's a beautiful very clean and clear lake, no motor vehicles, boats, pontoon aircraft etc allowed. The lake is at 5,700 feet elevation, about 10 sq miles with a max depth of a bit over 400 feet. It's totally clear, just amazing.
