He is an infamous psychotic Iowa troll. About 5-6 years ago, he was banned from most message boards and then he kind of disappeared after he was doxed by a fellow Iowa fan. His doxing led to his pictures being all over the internet (they weren't super flattering) and people finding his Harry Potter fan fiction (no joke). He eventually must have paid for a service to scrub his digital footprint because the stuff he was posting was truly awful.

That said, his schtick always started exactly like Boomtime. He pretended to be a Gopher fan that just had "high expectations". It never made sense though because his suggestions were idiotic (see suggesting firing Fleck and hiring Halgorson because of high expectations).

I wouldn't be surprised if Boomtime and Pantherhawk are indeed the same sad sack of humanity, but I need to see Boomtime in full Star Wars storm trooper regalia for confirmation.

Tough luck on Howard. Hope he does well.

What possible justification do you have to transfer out of a top tier SEC program with top tier NIL and you played as a true freshman??


I know they don’t need any justification. I’m just saying.
 















Would he help or harm the Culture of Gopher football? Would he be worthy of a scholarship? Maybe FCS is where one should look?
 


Jaxson Howard to the Gophers makes a lot of sense. We have a huge hole at his specific position of rush DE behind Danny Striggow who's in his last season. As long as he's not chasing NIL, which rumor has it he's not, then this could happen. My instinct says it's more likely to happen, than not.

One doesn’t have to be “chasing NIL” to find the massive step down from top-tier SEC level NIL all the way down to Gopher NIL to be unpalatable.

Hey, maybe he’s the next Dawson Garcia!

I will just let myself be pleasantly surprised if it happens so I don’t have to be disappointed if it doesn’t.
 


If he's looking to play in the NFL, the Gophers have proven they can put players in the NFL, especially on defense.

lol....yeah, I mean it is a bummer when high rated in state kids don't stay home but would hardly say it qualifies as heartbreaking.

If Howard wants to come home that would be great. But if he goes somewhere else we were no worse off than before.
 

The question one should be asking "will he be an asset who will add value on & off the field"? Not every is qualified to be a Gopher football player. As the song says there is happiness in "unanswered prayers". Diddy

I'm not aware of any character concerns. Not that I know this young man personally, but isn't he for the most part considered to be a pretty good kid?
