Found him from your Nolan link as another of the 10 players to be blacklisted by the National League in 1881. His story reads like a Hollywood script waiting to happen, but not a much different tale than The Princess Bride.
Seems he could be useful as a Red for the Grid. Noteworthy, led the League in Triples once with 14 as a 20 year old Outfielder.
Nickname was not from consuming Reese's as I would have guessed.
I finally got to work in Buttercup Dickerson. Also getting brought in was another unique nickname, Chicken Wolf.
I had been saving Chicken when I stumbled upon him on a SB category a few weeks ago and noticed he pitched too. He got rocked all 3 times.
Along with The Only Nolan, the nickname trio helped achieve a Total Rarity of 1.
