I dont think we will have to prove anything. I think if they make a serious offer he will take it unless he is waiting for another job. In a just world you would be right, but the fact is very few coaches will stay at Mid-Majors when offered the chance at a major conference, even an awful school.

If we pay the buyout, pay him more than he's making at CSU and he's in the Big Ten at Minnesota,
I believe he's in. The point, I think, is to be successful and win games he needs better support financially and administratively than what we have historically been providing.
