Just thought it would maybe be fun to discuss the games going on this weekend. Oregon pounding Utah to start the P12 championship. Would open the door for Oklahoma

Didn’t see any other posts to discus conference championship games. Watching the Utah v Oregon game, and Utah decided not to show up with a likely CFP selection on the line. Gotta give Oregon some credit though, they’re looking tough.

The Utah/Oregon game looks familiar so far. Upstart higher ranked team with a better record goes into the game with the same game plan as always and not executing (with injuries), while the lower ranked but traditionally better team goes into the game with a creative aggressive game plan and executing flawlessly. Deja vu.

The Utah QB is terrible. On 4th down (yet again), he doesn't lead the receiver AT ALL on a short throw and the DB easily knocks it away. Oregon doing a great job selling out to stop the run and making the Ute QB beat them...he isn't.

Whittingham stupid stupid move going for it on 4th and 2 from the 50. Could be ballgame.

And NOW he punts from the 40! ???
Absolutely baffling. All the momentum and you pull that crap? Wow. He’s going to regret this one a long time unless some magic happens after that huge run just got ripped. 30-15 Oregon with about 7 min left

Kyle Whittingham with a lot of poopy in his pants coaching in a big game. Amateur hour decisions. Didn’t give his team a chance. Feel bad for the players. Prolly for the best, they’d of got beat by 20+ in the playoff.

Well considering they’re down almost 20 to Oregon, it would probably be much worse

Correction. Now losing by 20. Glad I took the value bet on Oregon +200

Minnesota should be ahead of Michigan, Iowa, Utah, and Memphis. Both the Coaches and AP polls have it correct.

Seems the moment was a bit too big for Utah. Coaches and players laid an egg. We can relate.

That's the only one to me that you could debate given the head to head win. Memphis will be pending how they look vs Cinci. The others yes I agree fully and it is without debate if you are looking purely at performance.

This where Iowa and Wisconsin excel because of experience which we should have gained this year. We will need to do this in our bowl game.

OK up 10-0 in the 1st. If Baylor loses, their best win would be against an 8-4 OK St squad that was unranked when they played. Decent win, but better than PSU? Nope.

Baylor ties it up at 10! Wild
Hurts is a T/O machine. Two really short fields for Baylor, even with its sputtering offense. Could be 17-10 right now.

Could score again here before half with yet another short field.

And they do...13-10 Baylor.

This does not look like a match-up of top 10 teams at all. The winner of this game should drop in the rankings, but they'll go on to get pounded by LSU or tOSU.

Really....what should it look like?
