Davis is Mr. Basketball in Illinois. A bit short (6-foot is a stretch) but can really control a game. To his credit, he stayed loyal to his high school and didn’t leave for prep schools like so many of the other top players.

Maybe this helps the Gophers in the long run then, could make Michigan and Purdue move on to shinier objects.
