All Things Class of 2027 Minnesota Gophers Basketball Recruiting Thread

I just recorded my first ever Rose-breasted Grosbeak so I'm going to have to sit down for a while.
I've had quite the summer so far. The less common birds I've had near my house include:
Indigo Bunting
Eastern Warbling Vireo
Tennessee Warbler
Red-eyed Vireo
Chimney Swift
Great Crested Flycatcher
Chestnut-sided Warbler
and also a Rose-breasted Grosbeak.

If you don't already have it, I can't recommend the Merlin Bird ID app highly enough. It's amazing.
We have one of these bad boys nesting in the woods next to the house. Whenever we put out some black sunflower seeds, the pileated woodpecker let's everyone else know it's his/her time to feed.

I'm not exaggerating when I say it's almost 2-feet tall and it's sky shadow sends every squirrel in the yard running for cover convinced it's an eagle or hawk.

Hey, I get excited when I see a cardinal, oriole or blue jay at my bird feeder. It’s where I’m at in my life and what’s considered fun.
