I'll take itNo one is giving up more than a mid round pick for Addison at this point

This probably took him from being worth a 1st/2nd round pick to 3rd/4th. But take what you can get and move on.They really have to cut ties, basically immediately. You can't have this kind of stupidity and selfishness in the building. This kid is like galactically stupid
He's one more dumb move from being suspended for half the season. I'd rather have the mid round pick and the cap room to keep Nailor. For a mid round pick, I'd rather just hang on to him, hope his value sky rockets and if it doesn't let him sign elsewhere and get the compensatory pick.
If this stays a misdemeanor, he might not get suspended but he's a ticking time bomb before something else happens.that's not really a fair way to weigh it. One Addison has to think that's what he's worth and 2, it's with the caveat of what's the cut on your roster to pay Addison another 15-20mil from his 3.
WRs are, imo, much more easily replaceable. I'd guess we resign Nailor now and let Addison play the year out, hoping he plays really well and they can sign and trade him. I will quite interested to see how long Addison is suspended for for next year by the NFL. Like I get the money aspect, but if there's the risk damn near every year he's missing 4 games for being an idiot, that caliber of contract to still hits your roster pretty hard for a guy already missing 1/4 of the season

At this point, I don't even know if it matters. There's being guilty, legally, of a crime, and there's being guilty of being a stupid f*cking idiot. Addison has a stupidity problem, clearly. Seems to lack the most basic of common sense.
Depending on what you want your culture to be in the building, it's just plain hard to have people in your organization that are hell bent on self-destruction.
His DUI was pleaded down to a “wet reckless” charge which is a misdemeanor. The NFL generally doesn’t look the other way on repeat offenders for their “code of conduct” policy violators. If this stays a misdemeanor, he might not get suspended but he's a ticking time bomb before something else happens.
I can't disagree with anyone making this argument. I think i'd rather have the lottery ticket than a 4th.He's one more dumb move from being suspended for half the season. I'd rather have the mid round pick and the cap room to keep Nailor.
The rumors are that whatever the friction is with Flores, it's not with KOC and it's not $$. Someone in the executive suite must not like him.I won't say it's not happening, but I would be surprised if Flores makes a lateral move for a DC somewhere else.
My guess is these are mostly leverage moves, showing the Vikings that he can get work anywhere he wants. I would probably do the same thing, if I wasn't getting the number I wanted from my current employer.
I'm not losing any sleep over these interviews elsewhere for Flores.

The Vikings had all season to work on an extension as their DC and that new contract wouldn't have hampered his ability to interview for/seek a HC position.I'm pretty sure the Vikings know Flores can get a DC job anywhere. If all parties were happy, they would have an agreement in place if he doesn't land a HC job.
Someone is not happy or he wouldn't be interviewing for a DC job elsewhere.
Getting back on the road after a dwi can be daunting. -D. BarreiroHis DUI was pleaded down to a “wet reckless” charge which is a misdemeanor. The NFL generally doesn’t look the other way on repeat offenders for their “code of conduct” policy violators.
I’ll be surprised if he gets nothing
