Quite honestly, I'm ready for a total change in strategy, teaching and development. 3 run homers are great but not when you continually strike out or hit into DP's.
Small ball, defense and pitching would be more fun to watch.

Cal Raleigh hit his 49th HR today, which breaks the record for HR by a catcher. Seattle still has 31 games left. He’s on pace to hit around 60-61.

I had to go to Seattle to see a Pennant Race, but I was at T-Mobile Park to take in today's Athletics-Mariners contest. The M's got off to an 11-1 lead by the 3rd inning en route to an 11-4 laugher.

Raleigh's first HR was a bomb into the upper deck. Second was more of a laser line drive into the bullpen.

Fun afternoon, heat alert by Seattle standards, 87 degrees. Wonderful ballpark.

T-Mobile Park is nice. Parking around the Park is terrible, but the stadium is nice.

I stayed near Lake Union, got an Uber for $20 to the park. Took the light rail back north. Worked out pretty slick.

Soccer team had an evening match next door but I had other plans. Worked out marvelous for the street vendors.

Even Ryan is getting knocked around. This could potentially be the worst September ever. By mid-month, you may be able to count the people in attendance.

Turns out this Great Value dented good bullpen couldn't hold up long-term either. I'm shocked.

Yeah, I was out there with the family on a vacation so I had to park the rental SUV near the park. The roads were jammed up and parking was like finding a house lawn at the State Fair to park your vehicle. Then walk about 10 blocks, go up a 5 flights of stairs and you're in the Park.
Getting in and out of Target Field is much, much easier. But, T-Mobile is a nice Park. Not top 5, but it's nice. The best Park I have been at is PNC in Pittsburgh. They do it right. Party on the Street and the Bridge closed down for walking across the Alleghany. Their team is current Twins bad, but their ballpark experience is the best in baseball.

One of the coolest features of T-Mobile Park was the view from the upper deck concourse along the 3B/LF line. Just a gorgeous view of Puget Sound.

I haven't been PNC. Big fan of San Diego's Petco though, both the stadium and surroundings. Like Seattle, being near a body of water really helps.
