Quite honestly, I'm ready for a total change in strategy, teaching and development. 3 run homers are great but not when you continually strike out or hit into DP's.
Small ball, defense and pitching would be more fun to watch.

I had to go to Seattle to see a Pennant Race, but I was at T-Mobile Park to take in today's Athletics-Mariners contest. The M's got off to a 11-1 lead by the 3rd inning en route to an 11-4 laugher.

Raleigh's first HR was a bomb into the upper deck. Second was more of a laser line drive into the bullpen.



Fun afternoon, heat alert by Seattle standards, 87 degrees. Wonderful ballpark.
