All Things 2024-25 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

Turned it on second half. Dont know what was said in the locker room but that was one they needed to win

Go to Denver on Tuesday and start off physical like the second half of tonight's game.....and they will wilt.

Evidence. I don't need no supportive evidence! This is GH!
Ummmmm, we were missing our second best player who would be the star on half the teams in the league for most of the game. We also lost the only guy who was playing well at the time in DDV.

Think it through.

That is supportive evidence of my position, not the opposite. Try again. Stop giving me evidence of their poor performance. The first half, Edwards was described by the broadcast team as "absent". More unwanted evidence.

Yes, they played poorly for most of the first half.

See brawl video. That might explain why they performed better in the second half.
gonna have to have someone grab Donte by the balls every night then.

They played with a lot more intensity. This team is just so unserious so often it makes it tough to put any faith in them.

Anyway...
up to 7th and hold the tiebreaker over the Clippers (swept them this year)
LAL (2.5 back): big one with Houston tonight as part of a brutal 5 game stretch that they get Houston, GS, and OKC twice
Mem (1.5 back): back to back with Bos and GS tonight and tomorrow
GS (.5 back): has Mem, LA, Den, Hou in a row here before things soften up

We have Denver then a pair of "easy" ones with Brooklyn and Philly. If we're not out of 7th by the end of the week, I'll be a little surprised just based on the schedule. The Clippers schedule is a joke down the stretch though so Wolves are going to have to not drop easy ones

Conley 26 of 44 on 3's in March
The 25 rebounds by Gobert is 5 better than any game he's had this season and his most ever in a T-Wolves jersey.

The Wolves have the 5th hardest remaining schedule in the NBA. Maybe that's actually a good thing considering how we always seem to crap the bed against the dregs of the league.

? I don't think they do?

End of game masterminds strike again. You knew exactly what Denver would do and we end up with a step back fadeaway from Julius Randle at the buzzer. Hopefully they’ll figure it out in OT but man these are some frustrating ones

Edit: clearly wishful thinking as we did it again to finish the first OT. Maybe the 2nd OT! /s
