All Things 2024-25 College Basketball Other Games Thread

UNC was down 21 early in the second half against Dayton. Cut it to six with a little under 10 minutes. Maui has had some great games today.
3 massive comebacks. Definitely the best opening round in Maui history. So good to be back in the normal gym.

Missed the second half. Quite the foul discrepancy. But no comment on the legitimacy since I missed the comeback.

UConn in disarray. Loses again to Colorado. Let's offer Dan Hurley a soft landing spot....

Watching Michigan State and Memphis. We are going to get creamed next week.

Averaging 6/6 and getting paid 500k sounds like the dream. Payne was a distant 3rd for me behind the other 2 starters that left for importance this year.
He's getting half the playing time he would be getting here. Third maybe, but "distant third," with how pathetic our front court is? I disagree.

Yep. I'd feel better about this team if we had Payne. A lineup of Garcia/Payne/Cochran/Mitchell and Asuma would be fine I think. I have to believe Cochran is going to be a factor- his numbers at Toledo were good 15 pts- 6 boards and he shot 50% on FGs.

Dickinson ejected tonight (very soft to me). Hard to say who’s more hateable between Duke and Kansas

Soft?!?!?

He kicked the dude in the head with pretty clear intent and absolutely no bother to avoid it haha

Thats quite literally what flagrant 2s are for

It took them over 10 minutes to decide his intent and force. Flagrant 1 to me all day. Dickinson is an absolute d bag, but if that’s his “forcible kick” bro needs to hit the weight room.

Solid game and a great win for Kansas. Felt like a March madness game

We always (myself included) love the guys we’ve never seen play (Cochran).

Indiana with an abomination of a performance today

People wanna talk bad coaches, that Convo has to start with Mike Woodson

Did the entire team go on a bender last night in the Bahamas? Louisville and Chucky Hepburn are annihilating Indiana.

West Virginia looking like they may take down #3 Gonzaga in OT in the Battle 4 Atlantis Quarterfinals :ROFLMAO:

Nice to see good basketball being played. UWV with a great win over the Zags.

Memphis is going to be a fun team to watch this year.....but I wish this Maui championship would have been ISU vs Auburn.

Checking in on some former Gophers.....Tusla lost again today. Carrington has a brutal shooting percentage so far this year. Payne and TAMU play Creighton in a half hour. Payne seems to be a starter.....but plays less than their bench forward.

Edit: Payne not starting now.

Carrington is one of the worst shooters I have ever seen. He's just awful trying to score the basketball.

Does a lot of little things well though

TAMU fends off Creighton. Second game in a row where Payne doesn't even see the floor for the last 7-8 minutes of the game. Buzz doesn't trust him I guess.

Michigan looking good. Beating the brakes of Xavier.
