All Things 2024-25 College Basketball Coach Fired/Hired/Retired Thread

It should since you were practically acting as his agent! 😂
Up high! Down hard!
🤣 Not gonna lie. I was a booster.

I mean, heck, I still am. I'm dumbfounded that things didn't work out better for him in SLC. His first couple seasons, there were some really impressive wins, and I figured they were on their way. He's an excellent tactition and teacher. Utah is a place that's had basketball success. It's not like sports always makes sense, but I don't get it.

4 straight head coaches fired by Utah. They should make a BYU like hire with big NIL backers or they'll be in the same position in 4-6 years.

Edit: Rumor is Andre Miller or Alex Jensen taking over with big NIL backing. I could see that working out for them.

And here sit the Gophers. Too stupid, or timid, to act.
Johnson should have been gone in January and a handshake deal with the new coach already in place.

I get he won't say it. He's never shown a reason to believe that he would have the foresight or ability to pull that off. I hope I'm wrong and hopefully it is a good coach. Time will tell.

Chicago State chimes in.

I went to a home game at CSU this season, there were officially 147 people in attendance (literally) and I think that was being generous.

Go Gophers!!

The trend continues...

Gophers recruited Loucks as a High Schooler. This was around the time that the Gopherhole went to a different format so not a lot of info on his recruitment.
