Carlos Rodon incoming
I believe he can opt out after this year. If he opts in its $22.5 million for next year.
He would be under team control through 2023 if acquired.
That would have been if they traded for Carlos Rodon. Mahle will be in A3 next season.I believe he can opt out after this year. If he opts in its $22.5 million for next year.
That's Rodon. Mahle is just 3rd year arbitration next year.I believe he can opt out after this year. If he opts in its $22.5 million for next year.
Exaggeration. He's not an ace, but he's easily our game 2 or 3 play-off starter.Mahle is a 4th or 5th starter on a good team. Yikes!
Polanco's contract is such a bargain. They have him next year and options for 24 and 25.I messed up and read Rodon. My apologies to everyone if I offended you.
I love the moves the twins made they didn’t give up top guys or guys that were needed next year. Steer is not great but he’s blocked by Polonco so good for the twins and good for him.
He's the kind of guy I've been begging them to go after. 10+K upside on a bad team. Change of scenery, let's see what happens.Exaggeration. He's not an ace, but he's easily our game 2 or 3 play-off starter.
His FIP is almost a run lower than his ERA. That is hopeful for the change of scenery/ballpark.He's the kind of guy I've been begging them to go after. 10+K upside on a bad team. Change of scenery, let's see what happens.
None of the catchers do much for me. It appears Jeffers will be back by early September. It's fine if they do, but they're all glove guys who will struggle to hit .200.Now go get a catcher if possible and maybe a bat if you can swing it. Otherwise would love a base running defensive outfielder.
Maybe with all the additions to the pitching staff they can get Wes back from LSU.
Another great deal. Steer has been really good but there's no where to play him.
His ERA this year and over his career has been much lower on the road. That ballpark has something to do with it.His FIP is almost a run lower than his ERA. That is hopeful for the change of scenery/ballpark.
Really dislike that they gave up Encanarcion-Strand. Widely considered a top 5 prospect in the Twins organization and I believe was going to be a full-time starter at 1B/DH to begin the 2024 season. Time will tell.
I don't think I've ever seen him ranked higher than 12th. He's in that 14-18 range in most rankings I've seen.Really dislike that they gave up Encanarcion-Strand. Mahle has thrown 100+ pitches 10 times this year, with a high of 119.
Rocco might have a stroke.
I'm assuming IL for Kirilloff. The Jake Cave experience returns.
