Lovie must have remembered him from his Big Ten days.. Hopefully, Blake stays healthy and plays great! I enjoyed him as a Gopher. High percentage of successful big play blitzes.

He has speed, great athletic ability and most importantly a nose for the ball. The only thing that keeps him from having a 10 year career is whether his body will hold up.
 


Just saw Schlueter starting at LT for the niners against Vikes tonight. Obviously all backups or deeper out there, but has anyone been following his progress in camp? I was somewhat surprised to see him that early.
 



















Looked up just about most of our alums on ESPN+ on who will make the 53-Man rosters and looks like:

Jack Gibbens isn’t projected to make the 53-Man roster, maybe practice team
Chris Strevler will be going on Jets’ practice team
TJ is safe with Bucs
Otowemo is safe with Vikes
Carter safe with Giants
St Jute safe with Commanders
Kamal Martin not projected to make it with Packers
Santoso not looking good

Bateman, De’Vondre, Faalele, AWJr all safe

If Gibbens only makes practice squad he will probably get called up some time during the season. His performance is hard to ignore.

I've seen multiple projections that have Esezi getting cut. Really hope that's not the case

Not enough quickness or playmaking ability to make it, IMO. He had a nice season for us last year and that’s appreciated but I don’t see him making the grade in the NFL.

He will make a practice squad at the very least. He has a lot of physical tools and could improve with more pro seasoning.

I would guess Ko is almost a certain lock to make the 53 for the Bucs. Hoping Gibbens can surprise and make the Titans. Otherwise, I'd say him, MDT and Andries have a solid shot to end up on practice squads by the end of the week.
