Many are going to be upset when one of our 2021 low tier players opts to play elsewhere next season.
Who did you have in mind? Many are going to be upset when one of our 2021 low tier players opts to play elsewhere next season.
Experience. Why do you say that? Do you have information or are you speculating?
Said experience is not with the Gophers, so is it with Johnson, or is it experience with Gard or Bennett?Experience.
The deadline for players to pull out of the NBA Draft and maintain their college eligibility is July 7. If there are any more commits it’s probably not long after that. So, we going with the roster as is? It’s awfully quiet for needing preferably two bigs.
The predictions of Eric Curry suiting up might come true yet!
Thank you! For some reason I thought it was July 1st.The deadline for players to pull out of the NBA Draft and maintain their college eligibility is July 7. If there are any more commits it’s probably not long after that.
This staff can get to 12 but they have a set of intangibles where they have to check boxes. Character that runs deep is a valued trait. So some schools have 15 to 18 on their roster. Yet we can’t get 12. Something smells in Denmark.
It's their cheese. So some schools have 15 to 18 on their roster. Yet we can’t get 12. Something smells in Denmark.
Curry only puts us at 12 and I think we can go over 13.if curry plays, doesn't count against the 13 scholarships?
I think most fans who follow recruiting are aware of dead periods and things like that. It’s public knowledge and many coaches (like Lindsay Whalen) post about them often.starts way before Gard and Bennett. It is more about knowing how much coaches have going on with recruiting than most could imagine. Do fans even know about dead periods, 1st weekend live, what has been said.

Your count looks right to me and you’re for sure right about the two being walks ons. Currys scholarship doesn’t count technically anyways since he’s a senior. I’m guessing we add one more only. Maybe two of the right person presented themselves.I only count 11 with Curry. I assumed the kid from Johns Hopkins and the local freshman are walk ons.
Guards: player from Lafayette, player from William and Mary, player from New Hampshire, Willis, player from the junior college
Front court: Battle, Fox, Ihnen, Daniels, Thompson, Curry
Am I missing someone?
Curry doesn't count. We have 3 left. Seniors can return for the "lost covid season" without being charged against the scholarship limit.if curry plays, doesn't count against the 13 scholarships?
Yes, I think if you participated in the combine and aren't drafted you can stay in the draft and still go back to college. If no combine and stay in the draft you are done.steffon mitchell staying in the nba draft, per jon rothstein. does this mean zero probability of a return to school, any school?
