That's exactly what I'm saying, people get so worked up about the staff not offering a hometown kid when they succeed elsewhere but never talk about the other players that go elsewhere and don't succeed, you're kidding yourself if you think minnesota is the only state that produces these under the rader guys. You start giving these schollies just because they are hometown kids and more likely than not they will be busts, there is a reason why the best offers they get are from midmajors and most end up only being midmajor talents, but people always like to point out the guys who over perform, yet tell those people to pick out what player not part of big 3 +JP that will over perform and no one has any idea, yet they will complain when some random 2014 mn kid does well else where at a midmajor down the line, which will happen.
