AK

Kinda warranted though, don't you think? Already looking like AK won the breakup.
No I don't. It isn't a winner/loser thing. AK was bad last year and instead of competing here he went somewhere else. Good for him I guess that he landed in a situation where they didn't need much out of their QB and a mediocre QB has been good enough so far for them.

Had he stayed here we wouldn't be in a better position than we are right now at the QB position, in fact we probably would be worse off.

I’d stop arguing about a qb that’s not here anymore and start a Kesish sucks thread..

He played Jedd Fisch who is from the school of Brewster/Pitino where you find the best athletes you can and hope they out talent the other opponent. It’s awful.

It is a winner/loser thing. Fortunately we play them this year.

He isn’t winning today….2 picks and under 100 yards thus far

AK nearly threw a 3rd INT, hit the defender right in the hands.

AK may have needed either better QB coaching or more time to sit and acclimate to BIG football. I remember watching him in the spring game and thinking he just wasn't very good. Of course that was after he had been "annointed" the starter. Sometimes it takes time to recover confidence after the horrible year he had last year. Sometimes they never recover. I wish him the very best, except when we play them.

I watched about 30 minutes of that game I’ll admit he looks pretty bad

I don't know what people were seeing before this game. He looked basically the same as when he was here. More than capable of throwing a great pass. But super inconsistent, not a great decision maker, and inability to hit short completions to open receivers consistently. Plus his mechanics are still messed up.

Before the game people were only looking at the record. I have actually seen quite a bit of Rutgers and they were not winning because of AK they were winning in spite of him. He is a little better this year but he is still not good.

He should be playing at a G5 of FCS school, not in the Big Ten. We are so much better off with Brosmer it isn't even funny.

Their game with Washington was my only look at him this year. Thought he made some nice throws and I was feeling a little jealousy in the first half. But then it was the same ole AK the second half and I felt relief. We definitely have a much better QB this season.
