He should announce his Sudden Departure every year.Perhaps his leaving was the key to the win streak.
On BTN's The Final Drive they said this is the first time since 2000 that the Gophers have defeated multiple ranked opponents.Honestly have we ever considered the OP was the problem the whole time
Must be regular season. Two ranked wins in 2019 if you include bowlOn BTN's The Final Drive they said this is the first time since 2000 that the Gophers have defeated multiple ranked opponents.
Timeline matches up to the OPs tenure. Not just a coincidence?!?

Says the pussiest Puss who ever pussedI’ll reiterate what I said last week or the week before when somebody dredged this up — to bring it up is really Puss.
Bierman's first head coaching job was at Montana.Remember: Mississippi State (starkville, mississippi) is where both Bernie Bierman AND Murray Warmath had their first college head coaching jobs.
It is of great historical significance to the University of Minnesota Football Program!
He also said that a guy in the process of being tackled at the line of scrimmage on 3rd and 8 was "going to get the first down" along with several other bizarre statements he made during the game.Actual quote by Tim Brando during the game “PJ Fleck is one of the most respected coaches in the game”.
This is a good example of why you never quit. The three rules I would give to all the teams I coached was 1) Have fun 2) Play as hard as you can 3) Never quit. That third one can be tough sometimes but the payoff can be huge.Tens of thousands of dollars spent. Traveling to 9 bowl games. Putting my heart into this. I’m done.

He sounded like someone who is still learning football and not someone who has been commentating on the sport for nearly 40 years.
In all sincerity, if I were one of his loved ones I would take him in for an exam, because he sounds like he's sundowning.
All that being said, I wouldn't exactly be etching onto stone tablets anything said by Tim Brando in 2024.
And I've said this many times before, but if the main reason you are a Gopher football fan is for our W/L record, you've probably picked the wrong team. Cheer for the team because it's your school, it's your state, and college football is fun to watch. This is a good example of why you never quit. If you walked away right after the tough loss vs. Michigan, then you missed a very nice 4 game winning streak and maybe more! It's been fun watching this team grow and develop.
