Great tribute for Fernando
And Boone intentionally walking a batter to get to Freddie Freeman, did not.Never had on my bingo card a MLB Manager intentionally walking a batter to FACE Aaron Judge.
And, it worked.
I have no quarrel with Freeman. He seems like a real solid guy.I’ll cheer for Freeman. Good for him.
1 down three to go, then I can walk by and smirk at all the Yankee hat wearers and remind them, there’s always next yearI got Dodger in 6 with Show Stopper winning the MVP.
I heard a story about Gibson that a reporter asked him about the first thing he saw after hitting that epic HR.In his hobbled state who didn't think of Kirk Gibson? Déjà vu, all over again!
I've seen that too. There's one car in particular that looks like it slams on the brakes, heading away from right center.I heard a story about Gibson that a reporter asked him about the first thing he saw after hitting that epic HR.
Gibson said it was all the red tail lights of fans sitting in their cars in the right field parking lot listening to the end of the game.
Watching the Gibson HR off Eck, I loved this graphic NBC showed before as he was stepping into the batters box:I heard a story about Gibson that a reporter asked him about the first thing he saw after hitting that epic HR.
Gibson said it was all the red tail lights of fans sitting in their cars in the right field parking lot listening to the end of the game.
The brooms are out.As fun as the Freddie Freeman bomb was in G1, it's playing out like 1988 where all the drama has since been sucked out of the Series.
Freeman now has 5 World Series games in a row (going back to 2021 with the Bravos), so that's interesting.
It's hard to root for the Dodgers tonight given that it would end the MLB season and I'm not a fan of a Bullpen game (especially post-season), but cheering for the Pinstripes is a no-go.
In NY, 2nd Place is FIrst Loser. The brooms are out.
