Didn't effect the game, but I can’t fathom the logic, as their offense hasn’t had issues scoring runs and if one gets past the pulled in infield, you set the Mets up for a big inning.

I found it interesting, just 1 of the top 7 WAR players for the Dodgers are homegrown players (sorta, Rojas was originally with the Dodgers and was traded, then came back). 5 of 7 for the Yankees are homegrown.

It's only 4 days, so not exactly about "a week".

Nobody gives a rip that it takes 14 days between the AFC/NFC Championships and the Super Bowl.

While I do have a desire to wrap this up by November, I am OK with the delay. Both teams wrapped up early so it allows them to reset their rotations on equal terms.

Also for North American Sports this will move into a tie with Lakers-Celtics for most contested Championships. Heard that on PTI but have not fact checked it.
