2024 Bowl Projections Tracker

College Football Network is projecting Minnesota vs Louisville in the ReliaQuest Bowl in Tampa.

This would shock me.

They have Nebraska in Detroit
Nobody from big ten in Phoenix
Rutgers in new york
Iowa state playing Colorado in the Alamo (not big ten but caught my eye) bowl
Iowa in nashville
Michigan in Charlotte

Yes agree. Think Phoenix is ahead of Detroit in pecking order if nothing else.

They also have a USC/LSU week 1 rematch in the Las Vegas Bowl......which isn't going to happen.

Think they have an unpaid intern doing these projections.

So based on all of the projections - no one knows lol.

Looks like Mayo Bowl, Music City Bowl, Pinstripe Bowl, or Guaranteed Rate Bowl?

I bet we get hosed and end up in pinstripe bowl again because Rutgers was there last year. Music City Bowl always passes over the UMN. Honestly I would take Guaranteed rate against KState. At least a beatable opponent and somewhere warm, not 30's to 40 degrees. That and Georgia Tech almost beat Georgia.

Is Duke the home team in this scenario?
I think it would probably be the case. It would be one of a few bowl games played against opponents in their home states.
  • 1962 Rose Bowl, Vs. UCLA, held in Los Angeles
  • 1986 Liberty Bowl Vs. Tennessee, held in Memphis
  • 2012 Care Care Bowl Vs. Texas Tech, held in Houston
  • 2015 Quick Lane Bowl Vs. Central Michigan, held in Detroit
  • 2022 Pinstripe Bowl Vs. Syracuse, held in New York City

Duke in the Duke Mayo Bowl is perfect😃

was reading an article that made (I think) a good point. no one expected Michigan to beat OSU. that put Michigan at 7-5 overall (with a win over the Gophers).

Michigan - this season aside - is a traditional power and a bigger "name" than the Gophers - which would likely make them more attractive to Bowl committees. the question is whether Michigan fans will travel for a 'lesser' bowl game after being in the Championship game last season.

but, the point of the article was that Michigan has potentially changed the bowl picture for several B1G teams with the win over OSU.

(I absolutely do not want it to be the Pinstripe Bowl. I hate games in baseball stadiums, and I will be doing PA for a holiday basketball tournament that day. )

I see that UNLV is only a 3.5-4 point underdog vs. Boise St. If they pull off the upset would that potentially effect our bowl assignment? I would not be all that surprised if UNLV does win. This season has been an outlier in so many ways for the scarlet and gray.

Blue Plate when down south but Kraft up here in the Northland.

Mayonnaise should not be sweet. Ever.

I don’t think so but it would likely make a different team get the 4.
I would think UNLV would be the 12

UNLV has a potent, uptempo offense. Very fun to watch. I'm really looking forward to the MWC game on Friday.

Hope they tell Pinstripe Bowl to pound sand...take Wisconsin we aint playing on that shit field again.

Would rate as one of my favorite fuck u of all time...Sconnie keeps its bowl streak alive by eating our sloppy turn me down.

Goal #1 is to avoid a baseball stadium with that useless turf, any baseball stadium. I would throw up in my mouth a little if the Gophers get pushed all the way down to the pinstripe bowl AGAIN.
