2024 Bowl Projections Tracker

I have been thinking the same thing. Oklahoma will become the SEC's Nebraska. When you try to create super conferences - somehow everyone thinks they will be winning it with the same frequency they have in the past. But, 5 schools can't win the same conference in a year. There will be losers in 50% of the games played.

I guess the one thing that could change my opinion a bit is with all the NIL and transfer possibilities - if there really is a growing parity situation, more teams will get their turns. But that is little consolation to teams like Nebraska and Oklahoma, teams that were at one point in a position to not share the success.
Yup

Love those projections and matchups — and they feel realistic at this point. Like I said in another thread, I think 1 more win gets them Mayo or Music City and 2 or 3 wins makes a Florida bowl realistic if not likely. So much football left to be played, but the team has played themselves into relevance. Fun stuff.

I hope we get paired to play Pitt and smack the shit out of them. Post game PJ’s foot in Nardpussy’s nuts would be excellent! Didn’t Nardpussy trashed talk PJ a year ago or so?

Like all the Music City Bowl picks. Be fun to be in Nashville and against a very good SEC team. Need to go 1 for 2 these last two in my mind though. As teams like a 6-6 Michigan, USC, Nebraska, and Wisconsin would jump us for a bowl. Just how it's been in the past even though I think Minnesota travels better than some of these to a bowl like Music City.

USC still goes to Pac-12 bowls this year.

I just noticed there was a change from the last week where there were some Citrus/ReliaQuest projections.

It doesn't look like much of a downgrade to me.
Reliaquest was pretty much a lock if they finished 2-1

Actually it probably still is. But 2-1 now requires a win over Penn state

At this point in time, it's still all in front of the Gophers.

Their bowl fate is in their own hands. If they play at the top of their own capabilities in these last two games they can still accomplish some impressive goals, and go to a very attractive bowl game.

If I know Fleck, he's pointing out to the team that the very best way to put the extremely disappointing loss to Rutgers in the rear view mirror is to play well against a highly rated Penn State team in front of our home crowd at the Bank.

After that, it's on to Madison for a game that was always going to be one of the most important on the schedule regardless of the records of the two teams.
