Generating a paltry 4 shots the second half of the game, including just 1 in the 3rd period doesn’t demonstrate a lot of ‘want to’ when you are being outplayed by a non-playoff team. Gus saved them.

I've been tinkering with some SOG parlay betting lately (don't laugh, it's kind of fun); I was shocked to see Boldy with just one SOG last night. Good thing he wasn't the only player to f*ck one of my parlays. Seattle gives up the 6th most SOG/game to RW'ers too. Weird game, especially the 2nd half like you said.
 

Boldy has not played as well as earlier in the season of late. He almost looks tired. Hopefully the line with Rossi and the new energy of Nyquist can light him up a little.

Looks like the Stars are adding Mikko Rantanen. Several other Western Conf teams have been adding pieces. The West will be brutal in the playoffs this year, even more than most years.

Luke Schenn to Winnipeg for a 2nd and 4th. Overpay for the Jets, but I guess they needed D depth.
 

Jets also pick up Brandon Tanev. LA Kings picked up Kuzmenko, Jets got better, Oilers got better, Dallas got a lot better, Colorado got better, etc.

VGK has said for weeks it will be a quiet deadline but knowing how they operate, it would not be surprising to see VGK and KMGM drop the hammer in the next 90 mins with something completely out of the blue, like the Hertl trade last year.
 





Wild did not play a bad game last night to the Canucks despite losing 3-1. In fact I thought they were the better team. Just couldn't find the back of the net

East Grand Forks vs St Cloud Cathedral at noon for Class A championship

Moorhead vs Stillwater at 7 for Class AA championship. Spuds are 0-8 in championship games. Either way it will be either schools first ship

that Edina power play line was tape to tape lighting quick. Spuds got it done.
 











Ouch. Wild losing at home to a Pittsburgh team that just traded away their 4th and 5th leading goal scorers and a few other starting skaters, rolling with a skeleton squad basically. Not a good loss
 



Matty was buzzing yesterday. Nice to see. Maybe the shootout game winner will build his confidence. Gus played great. Gotta stack up some more of these pinups and get the big boys back off the injured list.

I thought Boldy was terrible especially in overtime. Yes it was nice to see him score in the shootout but it's been 8 games since he scored in regulation. He is so damn streaky
