I could see that given we at times struggle with ND and with big series against MI and MI St. Think we sweep BSU and Alaska so I'd expect us to be a little better than 2-3-1 or 1-3-2 against the rest though. Expecting splits vs MI and MI St but an awful lot can change from a health standpoint between now and then for both teams. With Pahlsson officially out until at least after the break, I'll predict the Gophers will go about 6-3-1 or 5-3-2 in the next 10.
He wasn't terrible but he was bad. I'm not writing him off as I think he had played pretty well prior to tonight after his rough night in Duluth. Neither of the first two goals were bad goals but he needs to be able to make tough saves now and then. He gives up too many big rebounds for my liking.I mean really the 3rd goal is the only one I think Airey could’ve been better on. First is traffic and second was a great move on a breakaway. He wasn’t great but also wasnt terrible. Souliere has been better so far though absolutely agree
Yeah the schedule has not been strong so far. Who are the nine you are counting? I count 7 opponents (8 if you include the exhibition against St. Cloud). Keep in mind, the Gophers have contributed to these teams being below .500. That's with the exception of Omaha of course. And now that OT loss looks worse than it did at the time. Anyway, it's too early in the season IMHO to be looking at records of opponents with too much emphasis. And that's because the Gophs have played a role in those opponents being where they are. Like you, I will be very interested to see how we fare against the Michigans and Michigan States of the world. There is currently ONE Gopher opponent out of nine from Oct and Nov over 0.500. PSU at 4-3. Wow.

Now zero teams over 0.500 I think. There is currently ONE Gopher opponent out of nine from Oct and Nov over 0.500. PSU at 4-3. Wow.
It’s early. You take out 2 losses to mn and umd is now.500, PSU is over, Wisconsin is close as is St Thomas. BU is .500 right now and looks horrible defensively. BCs goalie got ejected for throwing a punch. UND is now.500. We’re winning games and the teams we beat look middle of the road in their conference. Gotta win those ones and rack up points and pwr comps while they get healthierNow zero teams over 0.500 I think.
Just kidding now AFA won and went over 0.500
PSU is not over right now. BU has played an absolutely insane schedule. UND is a bit of a trainwreck but no one is complaining (but also a hard schedule). No matter how you spin in, this has been a crazy weak schedule for the Gophers. But that's not their fault and they've done what they had to do with it. It just gives me pause, like the Covid year they ran through the Big Ten at the start. It's so hard to know where they stand without high quality non conf opponents. It’s early. the schedule is weak. but its also super early. BU will be good. UND should be fine (though it would be hilarious if not). The Gopher opponents haven't had enough additional games to really rack up wins so it's hard to what to make of them all (which is why I said if you subtract the Gopher games, multiple are above or around .500). None of Denver's opponents are over .500 either and in fact have a record of 8-32-4 (.227) prior to UND (who makes it still a paltry 13-37-4; .278) but Denver looks like a wagon again. MNs are 27-41-3 (.401).PSU is not over right now. BU has played an absolutely insane schedule. UND is a bit of a trainwreck but no one is complaining (but also a hard schedule). Took you longer than I thought to make an idiotic doom and gloom comment.Exposed earlier than I figured
We didn’t lose to some doormat, they’re a solid team. And we played well. You drool ove BC and they lost to UCONN on Friday. Were they exposed?Exposed earlier than I figured
?You know what's worst than Gophers getting cornholed, that fucking ringing on the Fox9+ broadcast.
