Jasmine Brown is showered with more offers:
The 6-foot-2 forward hails from Waukegan, Illinois and plays for Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein, Illinois, located to the north of Chicago. Back in her freshman season, Wood averaged 14.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
Wood is described as an agile rebounder who can play as a finesse-four and attack in the transition game. She can stretch the defense with her play from the arc and has lots of potential as she continues to grow in her game.
Wood picked the Michigan State Spartans over plenty of Division I offers, including several fellow Big Ten programs. The Michigan Wolverines, Illinois Fighting Illini, Ohio State Buckeyes, Wisconsin Badgers and Minnesota Golden Gophers. Other schools outside of the conference were also interested, as DePaul, Marquette, UCLA, Florida State, Florida, Arizona and Arizona State all made offers to Wood, among others.
Was wondering the same thing. Checked her actual Twitter and the word offered was cut out from this photoAm I missing something? What is this? Offer? Commitment? Fondness for rodents?
I would expect this means a FULL COURT PRESS on trying to get Taylor Woodson and Tessa Johnson in the state as today alone the #3 and #4 players in the class of 2023 committed out of state (Sanders at Colorado and NuNu at Stanford)

Ive only seen her play a few aau games but I came away really impressed with her, shes also a really good passer. She's the type of player this program really needs. The Crooks gal would be a HR. She is big, mobile and a better HS player then Ciziano or the kid from Byron at this stage.
