They've had better additions in the portal than we've had. If you line up their projected starting 5, with ours. I'm probably taking theirs. Their pieces are more known quantities than ours are, outside of Garcia and Payne IMO. It's close, but it shouldn't be based on the fact they have the whole roster to turn over.

They also have a more experienced, better coach.

Mitchell is pretty highly rated, not as high as Battle as a transfer but much higher than I would have thought. Only 4 or 5 other guys going to the B1G ranked higher.

I take it that Pride and Brown were not entirely convinced due to the lack of a commitment at this point. Time for plan c or d or whatever we’re on now.

3rd gen Gopher fan, 2nd gen Gopher graduate, 15 year football season ticket holder, 10 year hockey season ticket holder, basketball season ticket holder and so much more. Been to 4 Frozen Fours, witnessed 2 national titles in person (St. Paul and Buffalo) and have travelled to multiple cities to watch games over the years and have so much memorabilia it is ridiculous. Hell my profile picture on Twitter is me and Goldy from a Frozen Four in Tampa and my avatar on another Gopher message board is me and Doug Friggin Woog.

But yeah...I am the BADger fan. Its ok one day someone will think you have an opinion that is relevant and interesting. two interesting starters from UVU just hit the portal. No connection to the U other than UVU beat both long beach state and new mexico this past season
