Most of these other runningbacks look pretty good in the drills. Have to imagine that because Cobb isn't out there keeping pace, he's falling behind. Sad that a pulled quad may cost him millions of dollars.
He was a 4th rounder with a great day and a 5th - 6th rounder othewise. As long as his injury is just a tweaked quad, his draft slot will be based on his production for the last two years.

I'd have to disagree with you there. He was looking at probably the end of the 3rd. A good day could have moved him up near TJ Yeldon in the mid to early 3rd. But if you watched the combine, a lot of the RBs showed surprising pass catching ability, something Cobb has never established. So no, this very much effected his stock. Now he's probably getting passed by backs like Cameron Artis-Payne and Karlos Williams who looked good today.

Yes that is what I meant. A 4.8 is worse than many offensive linemen. Clearly a result of the injury.
No it's not. There were healthy FB's running high 4.7-4.8
He was running good and hopefully he can run at pro day.
His stock will drop based on injuries no doubt. Hamstring and now looks like a quad.

Thats hardly a "history" of injuries. He has missed zero games due to injuries unlike a lot of other RBs. A tweaked quad or hammy is not too much to be worried about.

You're right. I was wrong about the linemen. I thought I remembered the fastest linemen being in the 4.7 range, but I was way off base. A 4.8 is like defensive end.
Recent history.

I don't know where your getting that from. He was a projected third rounder by most scouts and a 4th by some before the combine. An great combine could have put him in the second in fact John Norris and Russ Lande have him as a top 50 prospect even without the combine. I don't think it will hurt him not participating though. He will have the pro day anyways.
RBs aren't valued like they were in the past. Cobb is in the 10-15 range for running backs this years draft on ESPN's board. Based on last years draft 10-15 were all 4th rounders. This year is deeper at running backs than last year, so maybe more go in the early rounds. Regardless, if Cobb is the 10th back taken, he is in the fourth round, if he is 15th, probably 5th round, hence my opinion that a great combine gets him into the 4th, otherwise 5th or 6th if some backs pass him.
He is 8th for Mike Mayock of NFL network, 5th for Rotoworld's John Norris, 9th and a projected third rounder on CBS and also a top 5 RB for Russ Lande.
He shrunk! I thought he was taller.Wilson: 6-0, 245, 33.75 inch arms, 22 reps, 4.77 forty, 37 inch vertical, 119 inch broad jump
