Impressive hail marry caught by Mississippi St at the end of the half vs Georgia Tech on the last play and a tip in the end zone. Huge momentum swing.

SEC 0-3 in its last 3 BCS/New Year's 6 bowls. Will Mississippi State make it 4 losses in a row?

Whatever happens the rest of the way, Georgia Tech responded right. Scored touchdowns on their first two possessions of the second half while stopping MSU on their first possession. That's the right way to deal with a potential momentum changer.
 


If a few plays don't go Mississippi St.'s way, this could be a big blowout right now. It appeared to me that it was a fumble in the first half (I don't think his momentum was stopped), and the hail mary at the end of the half was pretty fortunate.

Georgia Tech is so much fun to watch. Their QB is only a sophomore.

If GT holds on and Auburn and/or Bama lose tomorrow, can we go ahead and crown the SEC West in 2014 as the most overrated division ever? If MSU loses, the division will be 2-3 in bowls this year (A&M and Arkansas with wins), so another loss guarantees a losing record.
 



Gotta hand it to Musburger, he's not letting the SEC off the hook at all. He's mentioned it twice so far, "...the SEC is reeling..." and "...an unstoppable attack on the SEC...".
 

Down goes MSU. Mississippi teams lose their New Years' 6 bowls by an average of 27 points today. Thoroughly amusing.

Really? Every game still matters with this selection committee?

How many top 10 teams were exposed today? The rankings are a damn beauty pageant and it's aggravating as hell.

A tourney of league champions still preserves the importance of every game. We don't have that. The Big 12 needs to have a championship game, none of this "co-champion" garbage.

If we want to have a "lifetime Achievement Award"-like recognition for the team voters "feel" is the best or "had the best season" I can agree with that.
 

The Skunks and Auburn are underway in the Outback bowl. Bleep - Auburn just handed the Skunks a 1st down with a blatant PI penalty. Clement breaks a long run, and WI has a 1st-and goal. Bleep - WI scores TD.

yeah...I've always vowed that I would never root for WI under any circumstances. But with the SEC on the ropes after yesterday, it would be extremely cool (and just) for the SEC to go 0-3 against the B1G today.
 




Good start for Michigan St. I think the winning team will have to score 40+ in that one.

Cheering for Wisconsin against the SEC is kind of tempting, but I think in the long run I'll be happier if Wisconsin loses, and I think it's better for the Gophers if Wisconsin loses. Wisconsin is a bigger rival for the Gophers than the SEC is. Maybe I can muster up enough Big Ten pride to cheer for Wisconsin to keep it within 59 though :)
 


And once again the golden horseshoe remains firmly lodged up Bucky's ass.
 


Holy crap, MSU is trying to come back from a 20 point 4th quarter deficit.
 

Wow. Absolutely incredible finish. At least Michigan State and Wisconsin represented the conference today. Let's go Ohio State.
