We all know deep inside we have a 2 % chance at landing 1 of the big 3. I have faith that Pitino will find good recruits from other states.
I really believe it's between the U and UNC when it comes to Vaughn. I think Pitino has some ground to make up and is definitely behind, but if he's as relentless as we hear about then he'll make it close.

Based on the outcome of the last Gopher basketball related event that had a 2% chance of happening, I'll take it!

Speak for yourself. I believe our chances of getting one of them are pretty good. I have faith that we will also get good out-of-state recruits with Pitino though, so we agree there.
He went for the Duke-Carolina game.
Over two month ago on Tubbys watch: March 9th.
I heard Michael Jordan was trying to convince Wiggins to go to UNC. I bet Jordan has spoken with Vaughn too.
I am surprised this hasn't been brought up yet.
ESPN 60 SF Pinson to announce Wed.
"Junior small forward Theo Pinson (Greensboro, N.C./Wesleyan Christian) will announce his college decision on Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. ET, ESPN.com has learned.
The No. 12 ranked Class of 2014 prospect will decide between Georgetown, Duke, Louisville, Indiana and North Carolina. "
I post this here because this might play a big role in Vaughn's decision. If Theo Pinson picks North Carolina, which there is a good chance he will considering he is from Greensboro, this will no doubt give Vaughn second thoughts about going there considering Pinson is also a wing player. Obviously they can still play together at the 2 and the 3, but if Vaughn is all about being "the man" like most of us think he is, that would be hard to do when have another talented scorer playing the wing position with you. I will personally be rooting for Pinson to pick UNC and I think most gopher fans should as well if they want to increase the chances Vaughn to come here.

Didn't Theo Pinson try to latch onto the Tyus Jones/Jahlil Okafor package deal?

I think they all visited Duke at the same time and it was discussed.
Shooting Guard and Small Forward are pretty much the same position in high school and college.I should probably add that five-star small forward Justin Jackson has already committed to UNC, and that most people have Indiana and Louisville as Theo's top 2 right now probably because of that fact. Besides Theo, North Carolina has three other offers out for three other players in the 2014 class: D’Angelo Russell, Rashad Vaughn, and Devin Booker. All three are shooting guards.
As most of you know Pinson picked UNC. Here is what Doogie tweeted about how this impacts Vaughn. I have hard time believing it, but I guess in time we'll see.

Well yeah, it would only have impacted him had Pinson committed to MN.

I do not like the "him/them" - does this mean Vaughn is planning on going to Duke with Tyus and O or does that mean "they" have already decided on MN?
