    3 game losing streak

We’ve had 9+ wins two of the last four years, and one of those included losses to Bowling Green and Illinois at home (one of those years was a Covid year with only 7 games as well) . Bad take. I’m disappointed in todays loss but you’re completely overreacting.

    Where will Minnesota be ranked?

What else would he say after an ass-kicking? That MSU sucks? You’re reading into it too hard.

When was the last time a big 10 basketball coach was hired who had never been a head coach?

Izzo head coached high school, never collegiate. Shrewsberry coached in the NAIA. It's not like they had loads of head coaching experience. The rest of the guys, as you noted, had never been a head coach. Isn't that what you were asking about?

    Bateman opts out

Then why play in the first place? I'm fine with him making this decision if that's what he wants, just seems weird to do it now after everything he went through to play this year. Best of luck to him moving forward!

    Don't blame Walker.

The coaching was the issue, not the kicker. Anyone saying otherwise is delusional. Hindsight is 20/20, but you can't blame anyone else for sending out a kicker with no experience rather than going for two with an offense that put up 44 points.

Wisconsin is pausing all football-related activities. Saturday’s game at Nebraska will not be played

That's a good explanation, thanks. Just sucks to be in Nebraska's shoes.

Wisconsin is pausing all football-related activities. Saturday’s game at Nebraska will not be played

I don't see why this shouldn't just be a forfeit for Wisconsin? Nebraska shouldn't be punished in this situation.

    Tyler Johnson Thread

I drafted TJ in the last round of my fantasy football draft as a homer, held on to him for four weeks as a homer, and the week I drop him he looks great. Gotta love it. Happy to see him making an impact though!

    WE'RE BACK!!!

I completely respect his decision if he doesn't want to play (regardless if it's because of NFL draft or health concerns for him or others), but there's been a bunch of studies saying asthma isn't a significant risk factor. https://www.statnews.com/2020/07/02/asthma-covid19-connection-research/...

Big Ten Football Season Expected To Proceed – Without Michigan, Michigan State

If true, I feel bad for the Michigan and MSU kids. We should stop treating them like they're 6 years old and let them decide for themselves if they want to play or not. You're allowed to choose your career path in college, but in some states you can't decide if you want to run around on a...

    Possible Long Term Effects?

I don't know the precedence for this and I'm honestly curious - could leagues actually be held liable for this? If a team has a flu outbreak in their locker room any other year, could people sue the league for that? For a naturally occurring illness I feel like you can't sue the league/school...

Boomer Esiason suggests college football players are getting coronavirus on purpose

By testing the test, then testing the test of the test to be sure. Simple stuff. If you want, you can even test the test of the test that is testing people.

K-State student athletes are taking a stand against racism

Can you highlight and tell exactly which part of the tweet was inciting violence or is expulsion worthy? Whether wrong or right (he's wrong, and an idiot), you can't go around punishing people for non-violent statements that speak their opinion.

Boomer Esiason suggests college football players are getting coronavirus on purpose

You can get permanent organ damage from the flu. Not trying to downplay this disease but I hate the argument that a small percentage of people infected will have long term damage. There aren't any studies that say a significant amount of people will get permanent damage from this, outside of the...

K-State student athletes are taking a stand against racism

Is tweeting a terrible joke grounds for expelling a student from the university?

K-State student athletes are taking a stand against racism

Because the cop may end up getting a lighter sentence from this fact, which sucks but is part of the truth

K-State student athletes are taking a stand against racism

To be fair, he said "put down because he held a gun to a woman's stomach," not because he was on drugs when the cops interacted. I don't agree with his post at all, it's incredibly dumb, but you're mixing the two scenarios. No one is saying he deserved to die from the cops.
