I believe this was the year we should have gone to the NCCAs if it wasn't for all the injuries that hit us. Started out really strong until injuries hit. I think we lost Bauer and Bickerstaff that year. Can't remember if there was anyone else hurt.

Nebraska should be kicked out for losing to MN at home. Seriously though, I'm not paying close attention this year so did realize that Nebby was near being in.

Regarding that fight, at the company I work at one of our executives (who is now retired) was Mark Wagar who was on the buckeyes team I didn't have whole lot of interaction with him but briefly talked to him about the game when I met him once. I think he was hit by Winfield.

Haskins first couple years were terrible. 86-87 I think. He had several recruits (Burton, Coffey, Shik) that got a lot better by the time they were Juniors/Seniors). I think they won 2 games or so Haskins first year and not much better the second. Is there no patience for this kind of build...

Moser team runs some fantastic actions offensively. Their defense is great too. The coach that I wish we would have gone after years ago was the coach of Davidson. He's one of the best coaches around. I think he's too old at this point.
