Not sure what to make of this Michigan team. Close wins over Eastern Michigan and Ohio, blowout loss to ASU and then a close loss to both Virginia and Kentucky. Though not sure it matters if Gophers can't get Battle and Garcia playing well together and getting production out of the freshmen and senior guards.

Hoping the crowd will be rocking for the Wolverines coming to town, we need a Big Ten atmosphere.

GET 'ER DONE JOHNSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll just say what I always say. We need Battle, Garcia and Cooper to lead this team, if that happens and the freshman can give what they normally give, I like us alot at home. Dickinson will be a problem in the paint, Jett's a nice player on the wing, but I am really skeptical on Michigan's guard play. Should be a fun one.

Michigan is fresh off a trip overseas, first game without their PG, and on the road. CBJ said yesterday we were 100% and this is the best he has felt about the team all year.

This game is ripe for the taking, if we lay an egg it is a very bad omen for the rest of the season.

We need a "W" tonight. Playing close and moral victories don't cut it. Michigan is likely a tier below the competition we've been losing to lately and are facing its own adversity.

I'm admittedly a Ben Johnson sympathizer, but tonight he needs to get the lineups right, have a solid plan for Dickinson, and prove the team is progressing by getting to 5-4.

Even before the injury doesn't make sense that they brought in the princeton kid, Frankie Collins was better and that tream changed for the better when Howard made him the starting PG at the end of the year, or well the old St. Joe's coach did that when Juwan got suspended

Must win game? No. But even beating down Michigan team looks good to the average fan. Need to win some conference games. A 14th place finish would be tough

Honestly I don’t think we’ll have any must win games in the traditional sense this year, but it’s as good of an opportunity they’ll have to prove that the hill left to climb isn’t as steep as it might seem.

Agreed. That’s why it isn’t must win. It likely will not matter at the end of the year. But they need to scrape together 3-4 conference wins.

Haskins first couple years were bad in conference. Maybe a couple of wins the first year and 3 or 4 the next. patience maybe? or does that not exist anymore.

Yeah, would love to see a few wins haha. I recall Mason, Dupree, Murphy, and dorsey having all playing well by the end of 2015, which was a rough rebuild year. They knocked off #6 Maryland and that gave the program a lot of energy. Hope we find ourselves in a couple of unexpectedly competitive games like that this year too.

B1G pre-game show lobbying more minutes for Payne, almost like Bardo surfed the hole before hand lol

Garcia scored a couple times but seems anxious out there. Also not sure I've witnessed Battle be on the floor for 4 mins and not take a shot lol

Michigan is picking apart our defense every time Dickinson touches the ball

Michigan with a lot of energy. Looks like they want to put those loss is behind them by burying us right away.
