    Simple NIL

I disagree. I think college athletes are worth something for advertising. It’s just that up until NIL it couldn’t be done so there is little precedent.

    Simple NIL

I never understood how NIL got to where it is. I think we could compete if we got past the concept of free $ for playing sports. I think our companies and our citizens could get behind the concept of paying these kids good $ if their name image and likeness was actually used for something...

Mark Coyle's Job Should Be On The Line

Post Game Thread: Gophers Get Crushed by Michigan

The saddest most pathetic offense I’ve ever seen. If pj doesn’t fire everyone tonight then he is signing his own resignation.. Fuck these guys for putting this on the field. I’ve been a fleck disciple….agnostic now.

    Tailgating tips

These things work awesome. Can run a tv all day and can even keep your chili hot in a crockpot. Make sure your tv is on the newer side. I had a smaller 12 year old lcd and it pulled a lot more power than a newer tv of similar size...

4 tickets together in section 117 plus tailgate spot for Northwestern game.

Section 117 row 13 on the aisle. I’d like to get $50 per ticket. If you buy all 4 tickets you can also have our tailgate spot at no additional cost. Tickets are available to transfer electronically but tailgate spot pass will need to be picked up. Pick up location is in St. Paul about 10...

MN vs “B1G powers that be” game thread…

Every time we get close a targeting call either screws us or fails to screw the opponent..is it coincidence? You decide..

    East River Flats Shoreline

I saw that Bohemian Flats where the river boat cruises are parked, it might be possible to dock up there and tie off. I haven't been that far north on the River before, but I basically live on the River down here in the summer and every other place along the Mississippi its no problem to beach...

    East River Flats Shoreline

I am a season ticket holder that lives in La Crosse, WI and I have a 38 ft houseboat that I repowered/remodeled last year. I've been dreaming about an epic trip up the river and nosing in on the beach at the east river flats to tailgate for a gopher game. It all looks navigable, but the last...

Fleck: "I think we can be a really good football team next year."

Am I the only one that remembers how awful the defense was early in the season? There were some really bright signs of life in the last 2 games. I wouldn’t say “the young guys will be better with an off-season” I’d say they are already head and shoulders above where they were 6-8 weeks ago...

Minnesota Kicks Off Against Michigan on ABC at 6:30pm

If they come the U should allow fans to submit homemade signs and cut outs to put behind the announcers. Could be a fun way to keep the flavor.

Notre Dame and North Carolina COVID Outbreaks - When Does ACC Cancel Season

If next summer rolls around and we are in the same boat then it is appropriate to start thinking about how to get life back to normal because at that point we would have to accept that this is going to be a more permanent thing. But with what little we know about this and the hope of a...

Pete Thamel: Time to face reality: ‘No one is playing college football in the fall’

Could the lower death rates be attributed to the fact that the biggest increase in infection rates is among 20-35 year olds? The population least likely to die from infection?

Sid: It seems like the University of Minnesota is preparing to have fans in the stands for the 2020 football season

Did you learn math at Wisconsin? I don’t think a MN grad would divide 1,500 by 30,500 and come up with 0.04%...you’re off by 2 orders of magnitude.

    Politics aside.......doesn't it seem

Well for one thing, H1N1 reulted in about 12,000 deaths over the course of 12 months whereas we have 14,000+ in less than a month from this (and rapidly growing). Second, H1N1 didn’t have the scary characteristic of 14 day asymptomatic incubation time where you could spread the disease without...

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA VS AUBURN OUTBACK BOWL IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

The pocket has been decent but tanner is hanging back. I feel like if he stepped up for that last throw he would have had more time
