I know there has been considerable deliberation on how to speed up the game over the years. With TV controlling so much now and its importance, I don't see much being done there, but here's an idea... Stopping the clock after every incomplete pass is and has been an important part if the game...

I'm always interested in hearing from everyone what they think the first play from scrimmage and first score will be. I believe first offensive play will be Rodney Smith off tackle, right side for a gain of about 7 or 8 yards. It will set the tone right off the bat and the Gophers will cruise...

A lot of great discussion lately showing a variety of stats. Full season, conference only, last four games etc.... Has anyone ever done a stat comparison using a weighted average or something like that, that would look at the entire season, but show trends and give more weight to recent...
