All Things COVID-19 College Football Impact

They’re being paid in the form of a free 4 year degree. That’s somewhere around $100,000+ to play a game at a non-professional level. Or is a full scholarship not considered money that the kid doesn’t have to spend/rack up as debt.

Badgers to add crest logo to uniforms?

Why does it matter what color most Wisconsin kids are?

Potential Big Ten-only schedule gaining steam?

That’d be nice. Hopefully we have a season. But I’d be fine getting a few hundred refunded on my ticket cost

Reading between lines, expect fans to be present?

One school backs out of playing, and therefore the rest of the schools feel pressured to follow along because they don’t want to be accused of “trying to endanger lives”.

Potential Big Ten-only schedule gaining steam?

So...if they cut non-conference do we get a refund on part of our season ticket costs? 3 of the 7 games are home non-conference games. One of which I was looking forward to against BYU. So we’d get to see 4 games...I’m not paying those prices for to watch half the games.

STrib: College, prep football in spring is unpopular option, but things are heading that way

Plenty of scenarios I’ve heard of and personally seen where someone was “assumed to have covid” but wasn’t tested and their symptoms match countless other illnesses. Plenty of terminally ill people that would have died of other illnesses, but were listed as covid deaths. I don’t buy the covid...

STrib: College, prep football in spring is unpopular option, but things are heading that way

Well that’s if you believe all 133K deaths attributed to covid are actually from covid. I don’t at all.

STrib: College, prep football in spring is unpopular option, but things are heading that way

Do you have some stats on how many have died in in car accidents in the same timeframe that covid has been here?

STrib: College, prep football in spring is unpopular option, but things are heading that way

My grandparents could die tomorrow of something totally unrelated to covid. And if I had been social distancing from them, I’d have just lost 4-6 months with them that I can never get back. Do you know how many elderly people are dying alone in their homes? Family members that never got to say...

STrib: College, prep football in spring is unpopular option, but things are heading that way

If there was total proof that I was the one out of 26 family members that had it and transmitted it to my grandparents directly, then yes. But I don’t have it, so it’s really a non-issue

K-State student athletes are taking a stand against racism

All that rambling for one insult? Come on you can do better than that, can’t you?

K-State student athletes are taking a stand against racism

Yes, pushing to expel and/or severely punish someone over tweet, that is far from the most offensive thing someone could have said might I add, is the right kind of change we truly need. Bravo KState

STrib: College, prep football in spring is unpopular option, but things are heading that way

I’m willing to put pretty heavy money on it that neither of my grandparents get sick of, or die from. covid-19. I’m almost willing to guarantee they won’t

K-State student athletes are taking a stand against racism

It’s no longer about stopping things that actually hurt someone’s feelings. It’d be a huge stretch if someone from K State were to try explaining how that students tweet hurt their feelings. This is cancel culture, silence all comments that seem to not fall in line with one way of thought. No...

K-State student athletes are taking a stand against racism

What do you think should be done to a man that holds a gun to a pregnant woman’s stomach? I’d love to know what you would punish him with. Are you not a feminist? Don’t believe in protecting vulnerable women? Are you a misogynist?

STrib: College, prep football in spring is unpopular option, but things are heading that way

No I just mean to be on the side of “I don’t think having a football season would be too smart, we don’t want healthy, in shape, athletes to get sick!” Lord forbid we go back to normal or have sports back. I’m golfing, fishing, working, hanging out all without wearing a mask. Hell I was just...
