Bielema taunts Fleck in post-game locker room celebration (video)

Hmmm. Pretty disrespectful and seems quite personal. Unnecessary, and I'm not at all in favor of this type of display. His role by definition is supposed to be that of a teacher for these young men as well as being their football coach, and he might teach them by example how to win with class...

How hot is your chili? Fighting Bielemas week

I was not at all enjoying this down Seany I'd become lately, so I am highly pleased to share that beating Iowee on the road was EXACTLY the tonic needed to get my chili back up to near nuclear levels of spice! We ended one sad streak, now let's end another by finally beating the Fat Man and...

Name a BIG QB worse than Hill

He is really struggling and is certainly not helped by the fact that he's got REALLY small hands, which is kind of odd for such a big dude.

    Big Ten Mess....I mean West

I can only look at 2019 and dream. What if that style of offense were a normal for us?

    Week 8 Bowl Projection Thread

A cesspool? Seriously? NYC is freaking awesome. I absolutely love it, far, far more than I do Boston.

    Big Ten Mess....I mean West

It'd be kind of cool to win the West in the final year of divisional play, but beyond that, I won't be sad to see this subpar and anachronistic division go away. Purdue is really the only team in this division that ever shows any form of offensive innovation, while the rest seem frozen in a...

But it's at Fenway! That is a game I could (and would) easily attend.

What If Just 1/2 The Drops, Or 1/2 Of AKs 1-hops Were Successful?

This, and let him throw on first downs more often. That is always going to be the easiest down to throw on as that's the down you'll always see the most basic defensive coverages, and that goes like X 10,000 for us, given Fleck's long established tendencies to ground and pound on early downs...

What If Just 1/2 The Drops, Or 1/2 Of AKs 1-hops Were Successful?

We could sure use a QB fixer, as Athan's throwing mechanics appear to be just completely out of whack. On several of his throws yesterday I noticed that rather than exiting on a level or upward plane, the nose of the ball would be pointing downward as it left his hand, and that's aahhh, not at...

    I’m the problem, it’s me

Well thank God we've got a whole thread of people whom we can blame! It's all YOU guys fault!

CBS: Big Ten football grades - midseason report (Minnesota: D-)

I'd add Illinois and Bielema to the list of humps we have to surmount also, because until we show we can finally beat the fat man, he's just another one of our daddies.

Gophers vs. Iowa matches lowest O/U of all time (31.5)

Hey, we can kind of relate as Gopher fans, as that is pretty much the polar opposite of Glen Mason's tenure at Minnesota, no? His rushing offenses were quite often literally unstoppable, and I'm talking against everyone, including the Michigan's, Penn State's and Ohio State's of the world, and...

Gophers vs. Iowa matches lowest O/U of all time (31.5)

This wouldn't shock me, as even when we've had good defenses, we seem to get regularly reamed by Iowa TE's. That's been an issue for a very long time, and our defense this year has not even been close to good.

How Hot is Your Chili Poll- It's _______Iowa Week!!!

Meh. Normally my chili would be smoking hot during Iowegia week, but I am just not feeling it this time around. I'm feeling like this is likely going to be a terri-boring football game and am just having a hard time seeing us being able to do much if anything at all vs. that stifling defense.

Honest Question: What does PJ bring to the table?

PJ ball has devolved into something that is repetitious and boring as hell.

Honest Question: What does PJ bring to the table?

I would never hate on Mason, personally. God, I LOVED his offenses. Now that was some exciting offensive football. It was just his defenses, my word. If he'd put even half the attention into his defense as he put into his offense, we'd have really had something there.
