MN High School Basketball Sections - Can someone explain any of this?

I call BS. DeLaSalle and Totino were in the same Sectional for years. Those schools whined and now they are in two different sections. The system is all about gerrymandering in the metro. Just look at the redistricting that has been done. The MSHSL can blow smoke up people's asses all they want...

    Ben Johnson is a Disaster

Oh yes, I was wrong. The entire UMN athletic department is gone. There is no hope for UMN. The Regents will vote to leave the B1G and all athletics to become like U of Chicago. We can cheer on Luke Loewe in his fishing boat and enjoy the 3 months of unfrozen land. 😏

    If the current guys stay....

All is lost. Motzko will lose the 1st game in the tourney like he always does. The whole athletic department is doomed. U of Chicago, move over.

MN High School Basketball Sections - Can someone explain any of this?

The committee wants the best teams to make State and then play there. Since the 4A and 3A is so watered down to metro schools, and you only have to win a couple games to make State, the committee creates a gerrymandered section. Look at Section 3AAA and 4AAA. You have Totino in one section and...

    Ben Johnson is a Disaster

It's all over. There is no hope for UMN basketball. We are exiting the B1G, like U of Chicago did so many years before us. Even the Summit League is too far above us. There is no hope. All is lost. Even a HOF coach can not save us from our doom. Woe is us!

    If the current guys stay....

Just giving wet blanket and crew the full Monty of where there pessimism gets them. Clearly with Battle, Cooper, Evans, Henley, and Samuels all leaving, the world has come to an end in Minnesota. How can our coaches ever recover from the loss of these players. Everyone here obviously wants St...

    If the current guys stay....

It's going exactly the way I hoped. The U is cancelling basketball and will build a new space program where Williams once lived. There is no hope for basketball at the U. Surely you agree.

    If the current guys stay....

Welcome to sarcasm that gets old. The GH is a cesspool of negativity so why not go way over the top to the Monty Python absurd. Get used to the schtick. It's my way of pointing out the absurdity of the Debbie Downers and Chicken Littles.

    If the current guys stay....

Everybody is leaving. There is no hope. The program is shutting down. The door locks are being changed. Williams is getting bulldozed. Sports no longer exists at UMN.

2023 College Basketball Transfer Portal Watch Thread

I don't think people do. The entire State is crashing down before our eyes with no human being having any desire to ever play basketball ever again. It's apocalyptic in nature and there is no recovery from the losses that have been sustained. All hope has abandoned us.

UMN has shut down their program. No NIL here. UMN is following the University of Chicago right out the B1G. Williams Arena will be shuttered by the end of April.

It's real. The facts are in. The University regents just voted to follow the University of Chicago out the door of the B1G. There is no hope for college athletics at UMN. All hope is lost.
