Possible New 32 Signing Limit Per Class

Isn't that already built in to the 25 limit? Even without any redshirts, signing max classes every year means you need to lose an average of 4 guys from every class to stay under 85.

Denver Post calls Minnesota/Colorado game "a massive “swing” game for both programs."

Seems like a easy distinction to me: 8-4 and a decent bowl win felt clearly like the ceiling under Kill, 8-4 this year would feel like a new average under Fleck. I acknowledge that this is more personal perception than a hard, data based argument, but I think that perception is fairly widespread.

SP+ still puts a lot of weight on recruiting/returning production this early in the season.

Colorado opens as 1 point favorite

Draftkings this morning. This is truly bizarre. I don't think I've ever seen a divided spread / moneyline like this

***OFFICIAL MIAMI OF OHIO AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Good to hear. For as scary as that hit looked, I was surprised to not hear he would be missing time.

Mo Ouch! - Injury Watch Thread

Well, tendon is one of the least complex types of tissue in the body. It really just needs tensile strength--doesn't have things like glands or follicles to begin with! So I would say that "there is less function needed in forming a tendon scar, so there is less of a deficit compared to normal...

Mo Ouch! - Injury Watch Thread

Seemed weird to me too, but yeah--and at 1 year from injury, there is not much meaningful difference between surgical and non-surgical outcomes. The main advantages to surgery are faster return to exercise (and thus less muscle loss for competitive athletes), and slightly reduced risk of...

Mo Ouch! - Injury Watch Thread

Said it earlier, but the flexor muscles of the toes can plantarflex the foot even with a completely ruptured Achilles. I've been rotating with a foot and ankle specialist orthopedic surgeon for the past two months, and we see four to five torn Achilles per day. You can absolutely walk on one...

***OFFICIAL OHIO STATE AT MINNESOTA SEASON OPENING IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

You can usually still plantarflex to some extent with a completely ruptured Achilles due to contraction of the flexor digitorum longus/brevis.

Who is your Gophers "Pick to Click" in the Ohio State game?

I've got Mo down for ~175 yards. Can't wait to see if that will be enough!

D1 prospect Ahjany Lee transferring to Totino-Grace

Yeah, but then you have to go to Lourdes. <Mayo grad

    Kramer, Clark, Athan

As long as PJ is at Minnesota, I can't imagine Tanner transferring. If he's not going to start or going pro, I see the likelihood (in order) as: 1) backs up whoever is starting, 2) retires and takes a coaching position, 3)???? 4)???? 5) transfers to play another year in college for some other coach.

    Black Jerseys

Look like South Carolina jerseys. Players seem to be excited, though, so that's good enough for me.
