Failure = GrowthGrowth hormones?
If PJ didn't mention not making the same mistakes the next day ... I'd be perfect for the team.... I can do the first part@Failure = Growth
Might have nothing to do with height or weight. What is wrong with Clarks shoulder? It seems he likes the 6' Kramer over the 6'5" Clark.
Highly doubt we will ever get more than what Fleck said in the video about Clark's shoulder. Could be something serious could just be soreness. What is wrong with Clarks shoulder? It seems he likes the 6' Kramer over the 6'5" Clark.
I also don’t foresee either of them as a gopher starter unless injuries occur. Athan is the man.Highly doubt we will ever get more than what Fleck said in the video about Clark's shoulder. Could be something serious could just be soreness.
Kramer has always seemed to be in front of Clark on the depth chart. Height doesn't really matter that much if the shorter QB has the intangibles to makeup for the lack of size.
What do you think happens to AZ?My prediction is clark transfers after this year. Athan takes the reigns next year
Unless he goes to the NFL, we'll still have Morgan next year, right? My prediction is clark transfers after this year. Athan takes the reigns next year
Pretty sure you have it right but who knows with all this eligibility stuff at this pointUnless he goes to the NFL, we'll still have Morgan next year, right?
Last year didn't count towards eligibility, so next year will be his RS Sr year, right? Then the following year would be ZA's last year of eligibility. This is my understanding (which could definitely be wrong):
Morgan
2017: Redshirt
2018: Freshman
2019: Sophomore
2020: WEIRD COVID YEAR
2021: Junior (in terms of eligibility)
2022: Senior
I believe ZA would be a year behind Morgan, so his last year of eligibility would be 2023. It might also be 2024, he might have an option for an additional year if he can successfully argue his leg injury cost him two years.
As long as PJ is at Minnesota, I can't imagine Tanner transferring. If he's not going to start or going pro, I see the likelihood (in order) as: 1) backs up whoever is starting, 2) retires and takes a coaching position, 3)???? 4)???? 5) transfers to play another year in college for some other coach.Morgan will likely be going NFL after this year.
And if he isn't good enough to do so, he probably won't be the starter next year with the QB room filling up, so a transfer for him would be another option.

PJ has said repeatedly that Kramer is ahead of Clark. I myself don't believe it. To me it's always seemed as a motivator for Jacob Clark who I think has the better future prospect.
Athan could be in consideration for starter next year, but I think ZA as a 5th year guy might be the starter until he falters.
Tanner Morgan is not an NFL talent and him transferring makes 0 sense he's flecks manMorgan will likely be going NFL after this year.

SJU won by recruiting Stearns County, they need to direct their recruiting to Stearns County, where Stearns County Syndrome produces 6'8" lineman that cannot read or write.Gophers installed a nuclear reactor in the football facility. How else are they going to pay off the rest of the debt? Good news is that our linebackers will average 6'11" and 350 by next season.

GrowROWth hormones?
gentlemen, please. let's keep this on brandFailure = GrowROWth
Why would Morgan transfer out if he is returning to college football? I'm not saying it would be impossible, but it seems like the most likely scenario would be Morgan to NFL or back to the Gophers.
Crap...gentlemen, please. let's keep this on brand
Crap...

Good point. And I'd be in favor of us moving on. With all the losses we'll have, let's break in someone in 2022 and take the growing pains.Just by how PJ talks about him, I think he knows Tanner is the right QB for this year, but for 2022, it will be time for the next young QB to start leading the 2022-2024 Gophers.
After this year, by talent, our next best year I believe is 2023/2024.
2022 we'll be young again.
That might be but I hope PJ just continues to play the player who will give us the best chance to win each year. If one of the young guys beats out Tanner, I'm all for it, but going young because there are other young guys seems like a bad move.Just by how PJ talks about him, I think he knows Tanner is the right QB for this year, but for 2022, it will be time for the next young QB to start leading the 2022-2024 Gophers.
