Speaking of whom, the Badgers just landed another transfer. Why would anyone want to play for that jerk?

I don't include Gilk and a case could be made for another opposite although any one of those 4 could be that. I just don't know what OH would want to come here and possibly be 6th in line for playing time. And if she moves up in the pecking order, what does that say about how they view the...

Why would they go after another OH? They need a capable backup setter. That's it. They have their team. It may not be good enough to compete with the best, but this is who they recruited. Not cranky, a serious question.

    Ruffda, Cranky?????

    Bah humbug.

To answer my own question: Shadd-Ceres, Chan and Serafinowska.

They had beaten Nebraska twice that year too. Sucked that Oregon laid an egg v the Huskers.

He really is the worst. What does he offer? How can he have more $ than other programs?

I honestly cannot comprehend how fans get behind one-season players. How is Mimi Colyer even remotely considered a Badger, just for one example. And she's close to half their offense to boot. How many years does Hudson have left at UK?

I guess that's easier than faulting Cook. I have no idea what actually went on. All I know is that something has been off for a long time, even before Hugh left. Barnes, Rollins, Booth, Landfair, Wenaas, etc. etc. Pittman also seemed very unhappy with what was going on. Will anyone ever spill...

I can't speak for her, of course. But my assumption is that she gave it a year and didn't feel like it was the program to maximize her potential. Seems odd, considering her reduced role at Nebraska but there is no denying it's a better program in many ways even if it's not for everyone.

She was here. Sat in on the press conference. Cook talked to her. Then she bailed. Landfair didn't. I give her credit for giving it a year. But the team would have been in much better shape had Booth stayed. Wenaas was leaving anyhow. I give her a pass, considering she was an OH being asked to...

No inside info. Just who I would have hired. Him or Slabe. Cook seemed like a good hire -- and a surprise one -- at the time. To be honest, if I'd known he was available, I don't know whom I would have preferred. But I've seen no indication he can get the Gophers back in the top 8 -- and I've...

He always has his eye on one big arm, regardless of who he already has. Lopez probably isn't enough. I don't think he has the patience for recruits. Certainly not domestic ones. Fuerbringer is really good. I'll give him that. He stuck with her. And his libero, Simon, is also good.

Except one has the coach we should have hired. And Kentucky has the hired gun(s). I'm rooting for A&M.

No idea how Kentucky took this to five playing as poorly -- and passively -- as they have.

That one's easy. Badgers are not a team to root for. Sheffield should not be rewarded for unethical behavior.

Who is Wisconsin lining up for 2026? Penn State (besides Stucky)? How many Gophers? That should be a bigger concern than who they might GET.
