It is a great idea for discussion purposes. As part of that discussion it is important to know that there are always unintended consequences. Good ones and bad ones. I don't have any idea what those might be, but I like the idea of looking into it.

Yes my bad. I was thinking about walk-ons that are awarded a scholarship. If they get a scholarship after two years at the school, they don't count against any yearly quota, but still do count against the 85.

My understanding is that grad transfers do not count against the annual 25 but do count against the total 85

Agree and the bolded part is key I think. Why can't they do a better job of combining these two?? I know bigger scoreboards have happened, but there has got to be a way to do a far better job of enhancing the "at the game" experience with the better parts of the "tv" experience!

Makes total sense with Temp seating etc... There is a lot of space on top for doing some very creative things!

I would add that the Punta Gorda airport (about an hour south of tampa) has some really reasonably priced flights on allegiance air . Only thing is they fly out of des Moines, Sioux falls or st cloud, not msp. Worth checking into
