Hard copy for everything fiction. Kindle for everything learning/self-improvement. When I read books on programming, it's always on Kindle. The ability to make notes/highlight, immediately look up definitions, etc...Can't be beat. But I will always appreciate my physical copies.

One of the worst seasons of Gopher football I've seen since starting in 2010. Even those early Kill seasons were better because it felt like we were getting better little-by-little. This was just boring and painful.

You've got it exactly right. 2019 was great, no doubt. But I don't give a crap about any # of wins after it, because the team failed when it mattered over and over. (Which arguably happened in 2019 as well). It felt like the window was closing this year, with the new age of CFB brimming. And...

Just watched the highlights of that game. Dark times ahead with that level of competition being regularly added to our schedule.

The wins have become a vanity metric now. He wins more but not when it counts. Let's the West slip away year after year. I'm personally not ready to move on. But it's sure damn tough to be so close and never get the job done.

For sure. I got to watch that game for free. In a pool. With drinks. And I hated almost every second of that game until the final moment. I haven't had much fun watching any games this season.

Can't blame fans too much...Our brand of football isn't particularly fun to watch. I'd be pissed if I paid to see that Iowa game.

Well...Good season. Took some steps forward. While it's sad it even got as far as it did - finally cracking the playoff loss streak was a huge monkey off their back. Hopefully they can improve on everything next year.
