I had to miss last night, but got my tix for Friday! I just checked the NDSU site and they have 5 Minnesotans on their roster. I imagine they’ll bring in some fans too - hopefully a nice crowd there! Looking forward that I get to see the team play WITH Mara and Sophie again this season! 🥳

I love reading these previews. The similarities between Coach P and the Michigan St. head coach mentioned in the preview, occurring the home game following Nebraska (where Coach P took over at South Dakota right after the current Nebraska coach left SD for the Huskers) seems kinda wild to me.

Everything I’ve read said she stopped playing to focus on her fast track med school degree. She has an entire dream career path she mentioned outside of basketball. To me that seems highly unlikely, and sounds like she’s doing other great stuff.

I *think* she might have one more year of basketball eligibility than she does in volleyball. She’s definitely putting some thought into basketball. Another volleyball message board mentioned she and Kim Mulkey recently started following each other, in addition to Kim’s recruiting coordinator...
