He’s a Midwest guy mostly, with some time on the west coast and no prior southeast experience. Taking the Bama job was probably a no brainer but maybe he has found that he doesn’t like the environment and would rather be in Big Ten country. Expectations are high at Michigan but not as high as Bama especially in the short term after this scandal.
