All Things 2025 Minnesota Twins In-Season Thread

In Rocco's post game presser he indicated Buxton's ailment is "cartilage irritation in the rib areas".

Day to day. Aren't we all?

Good it appears nothing to do with his previous leg issues.

IIRC he obtained via trade -

Pablo
Ryan
SWR
Duran Duran

You may find him odorous, but to act like his tenure has been the black whole of Calcutta, is an overly dramatic assessment.

And yes, everyone makes bad trades, but do you win more than you lose? Additionally, three have been All-Stars for us.
Falvey has made some good trades. He's also gotten fleeced.
His record is free agency is atrocious, especially those players who they've shelled out big money (at least by Twins' standards) to sign.

Giving up 16 runs in the last 2 games against the Nats indicates more problems than their scoring woes.
Yes, but they can't score. You are allowed to win a game 9-7 once in a while.

That's an absolute pipe dream for this outfit and has been for years.

I mentioned winning more trades than he’s lost and you post a generic comment🤦‍♂️.

Has he won more than he’s lost with trades (that’s the metric I used)? Have we traded away any players who developed into AS, let alone one (Berrrios & Arraez already were AS prior to being traded)?

And please specify the specific fleecing?
Also, have enough smarts not to include the Cincy trade and the current impressive WARs of the former Twins farm hands -

Steer 0.0
CES - 0.7
Petty -0.8

That of course wasn’t the topic 🤦‍♂️, goal post mover,, but I’ll counter with 3 Division crowns, although I’m sure you’d have eclipsed it 🤷‍♂️

There has never been a Minnesota sports team that NYC has allowed to be criticized.

It's so comical.

The twins suck, NYC.

Paddack and Pagan for Rogers and Rooker(should have been AS last year) was a real stinker. Holding out hope for Gonzalez but essentially no value for Polanco as of yet. I’d say Berrios return was okay. Cano for Lopez was not a win and Cano became an alll star like you asked about.

I’d say a mixed bag overall trade wise with this regime. Ryan and Lopez are the jewels.

Free agency. Pretty bad, with Bader and France being good calls this year.
