Hopefully this commit is joined by another guard shooter/scorer, a big man, and at least one athlete who can play and defend wings.

Yeah, the limited athletic ability and shooting ability is dazzling. Will trust Niko though, and hope he sees the floor as much as he did at Tech.

Who told you he's not athletic and isn't much of a shooter?

Because he was a true Freshman on the pre-season #10 ranked team behind a load of talented, and more experienced players.

Yep Groves is a decent athlete he will get some points cutting to the hoop.. strong enough to draw fouls.. He shot a lot of free throws in high school which padded his scoring numbers.. so I get what Tucker 32 is saying

Interesting video of Groves against Duke, he was +13 this game

The take away for me from this video is; How to defend bigs in the post with an undersized wing? You get to their spot first (Do your defensive work early), then grind, stay low and work hard! Then you keep grinding, staying low and working hard! And keep doing that over and over again!

Probably not going to be able to shut down a great post consistently with a small wing for a long stretch, but that video shows how it can be done if your defender if focused, strong and determined.
